STICKY Conversation Filters

I want my users to have the ability to see ALL conversations, but also normally see ONLY their own. This is doable with the current filter options BUT the filters set are not STICKY. So every time we navigate away from conversation view, we have to re-select the filter.
Additional to this would be to allow a setting for Notification and default view on the mobile app (we use iOS) where they can be notified for only the filter they prefer.

Will this include limiting the "unread" notification (and push notices) on mobile to only those within the preferred filter? Right now if I am set to see all contacts, then I get the bubble for ALL unread messages for ALL users which actually makes using the mobile app useless except when I see a notice a text message come in that is from a lead I recognize.
