I would love to be able to map an sms response to a field in the contact profile and be used in as a later responses to make the SMS conversation personalized and real-time.
The ability to recognize email addresses, phone numbers and first names inside the SMS conversation would be beneficial so that we don't have to push leads to a form to collect further information.
Use Case:
I send out a Direct Mail, Print Advertising or speak from Stage with a Keyword SMS opt-in for more information or to receive "lead magnet".
I automate HL to send SMS upon keyword trigger that asks for first name, then respond with second SMS that can include their first name and request their email address.
When they respond with email address then I can automatically add it to their contact profile and send an email with further information to them.

Why is this not a thing yet in HL...collecting info to custom fields is a pretty basic function for SMS in other SMS sytems that use twilio. Can we collect SMS data yet? Please up-vote this! Why send someone to a form to collect data when you are already in a SMS conversation, just ask for their email and name...boom done, Simple!

Yes! I'd love more keyword functionality for SMS. Get's a conversation going in the early stages of the lead and can be more automated before someone needs to manually chat.
