Add notification sounds when someone message us through chat widget

It would be great to have notification sounds when someone sends a message through the chat widget. This feature would help ensure no messages are missed and improve response times, especially during busy periods.

Moving this to conversations ideas board, visitor side notifications are enabled and active as of now.
The sub-account side notifications will be taken care by the CRM conversations team.

Manas Dixit sorry but this works only on the customer side. If you are in a busy office you do not recognize incoming live chats. There is no way to see or hear that if you are not permanently looking at the open browser window. I made this point already with the team. Please that needs an URGENT approach!!!

Hans Lange: just to be clear, you're expecting a sound notification to come up in the conversations panel too within HL for the agent within a sub-account to know about a new incoming response?
Trying to understand better here and answered the same on the other comment you made on another idea.

Manas Dixit for the users of the subaccount. The problem is: You are in a busy office, you are working on another task, then a live chat comes in. And you do not hear or see anything off it. Later you might discover that there was something, but fast response is critically. That is why the user = office worker need to be notified. Sound and Popup. And preferably with a reminder after X minutes when the chat is not answered. You know what I mean? For the customer to hear the sound is not as important as for the user The customer is on the side actively doing something with the chat

Manas Dixit i second this, it seems like a fairly obvious / standard feature. its the first thing clients have asked for when moving from other live chat products
