HL will continuously attempt to send SMS messages and VoiceMails to invalid numbers. This wastes resources, as well as money because Twilio charges for every attempt.
If HL was capturing SMS/Call results and acting appropriately, contacts could be flagged so that SMS and/or VM doesn't keep retrying. This could also allow HL to flag whether or not messages were delivered.

Can be done via Twilio phone number validation in Agency Settings -> Twilio.
