I am able to attach a PDF via file upload from the computer, however, I am unable to pick a PDF from the media library for attaching to an email. I get an error message "file format not supported.

Additionally, if you upload a file from the computer, it adds the file as an actual attachment. However, if you choose a file from the media library, it makes it a link. I would like it to be a real attachment in all cases.
