Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with lead assignment in GHL and I’d like to know if anyone has faced this or has any advice.
I always use automations to reassign leads when I need to remove contacts from one sales rep and redistribute them equally to others. The automation runs normally and shows that the leads were reassigned successfully.
However, in practice, this isn’t working as expected:
In the pipeline view, the leads still show as assigned to the previous rep.
If I manually reassign them in the pipeline, the change works there.
But in the contacts tab, when I filter by owner, these leads don’t show up under any user — it’s like they don’t exist or have no owner at all, even though they are visible in the pipeline.
So basically:
The automation says it reassigns, but the pipeline doesn’t update properly.
If I fix it manually, the pipeline updates, but the contacts tab still doesn’t recognize the owner.
Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there’s a step or setting I might be missing in the automation? I need to make sure the reassignment works correctly in both the pipeline and the contacts tab.
