HighLevel already supports UTM parameters such as UTM Source, UTM Medium, UTM Campaign and others. These parameters are automatically captured in forms.
This is extremely valuable for performance marketing because it allows users to understand exactly which campaign or traffic source generated a lead.
Currently, UTM parameters can already be used in:
Automations
Dashboards
Contact fields
However, one important feature is missing:
UTM parameters cannot be used as filters inside Smart Lists.
For marketers and agencies running performance campaigns, the ability to segment contacts by their UTM parameters would be incredibly useful.
Example use cases include:
Viewing all leads generated from a specific campaign
Filtering contacts by UTM Source such as Facebook, Google, or YouTube
Building retargeting audiences based on campaign traffic
Analyzing lead quality from different traffic sources
Creating quick segmentation lists for follow up campaigns
Since these parameters are already stored in the system and available in automations and dashboards, it would be logical and consistent to make them available as filters in Smart Lists as well.
For users actively working with UTM tracking, this feature would significantly improve campaign analysis and segmentation directly inside GoHighLevel.
