Contact custom value place in Opportunity custom fields.

I'd like to be able to pull already existing contact fields that have been filled out into the opportunity custom fields we are creating. This way we can just put the contact custom value into the opportunity custom field to pull the data. As of now it doesn't pull and populate.

This would be huge; not only does it not pull/populate, but if you add a custom value into one of the fields, you can't delete it later LOL...
