Current Challenges
We primarily initiate contact by calling company numbers, which has led to a few significant issues:
1. Unanswered Call Logging: Currently, we cannot log unanswered call attempts because there is no associated contact.
2. Clunky Workflow: The existing process involves too many screen transitions, making it cumbersome and inefficient.
Proposed Solution
To streamline operations, I suggest implementing a feature that allows us to create a new contact directly from the company section.
This would enable us to connect the new contact with the company seamlessly.
Additionally, another challenge we face is the inability to leave notes on company records unless a contact has already been created.
This limitation forces us to create dummy contacts just to document our interactions.
Suggested Workflow Improvement
Here’s a brief outline of the proposed workflow:
1. Create a Company: Begin by entering company details as usual.
• Use a new button to create a contact see 2 image
• Create the contact as part of the same process without needing to navigate away from the company profile...
• log the call attempt in notes as per existing contact features.
2. Leave Notes: Allow notes to be added directly on the company file regardless of whether a contact exists.
