I'm trying to move a client over from Hubspot and realized companies can't be imported. Big letdown. The client has over 2000 company records, so no chance I'm going to do this manually.
For anyone looking for a partial solution, check out this article that explains how to auto generate companies and company contact info by using the contact import feature: https://help.gohighlevel.com/support/solutions/articles/48001228591-company-object-automation.
The solution above will not address all needs, and a company import is still needed, but it's at least a partial solution and is better than nothing.

I need to be able to import standard fields into a Company such as Phone number and Company email. Would like to be able to add Custom Fields and import to them too.

Our company has an existing database of hundreds of companies with several custom fields for sorting. Yesterday, I learned we couldn't import these records and associated fields into go high level so we'll need to keep our existing system until this feature is available.

We are a marketing agency that works with clients that have contact list that can be 10k-20k in contacts which means they can have 1000-5000 company contacts. It's a hard sell to have to manually upload all of the companies and match them to contacts.
We NEED to have HL make uploading companies automatic with uploading contacts and keep them connected to the contact. This can be a deal killer when compared to HubSpot or other platforms that have this as a base function.
Please PRIORITIZE this!!

I run a marketing agency and have been using HubSpot for years. We just moved to HL, and when I found out that we have to manually upload all the companies, I seriously started to question why I moved.
Manually uploading company contacts is not sustainable. Especially when compared to other CRMs that have this as a base feature.
Please PRIORITIZE making this update. - Uploading company info with contacts.

I am a B2B, as are most of my clients. Having to manually add hundreds of companies is less than optimal. It is possible I wouldn't have switched from my other CRM at this time had this been explained properly to me.
