Im currently using a different community that allows for DM to users. As a coach, this allows a more personal experience with my client. Right now I have to talk to me through this channel so 1. It keeps them engaged in the community 2. Provides an audit trail of all our conversations so valuable feedback is not lost.

This is needed BUT this should be OPTIONAL. DM's can be really annoying and can really hurt a community culture if they are abused. So making it an optional thing will be crucial

DMs and Group DMs are the major component missing from communities in GHL. Literally have seen zero working communities in all of the videos posted (please share one if I'm wrong). I honestly think it's because of this feature right here. I don't think there is anything more important when I read through the roadmap, so I'd like to see this "in progress" sooner than later. Going to attempt to use this as is, but I have a feeling my members are going to demand something more functional as a legit community that's worth $99/mo+. Hard to do this at that price point without simple communication features in our communities.

To clarify what I mean by working communities, I mean active, functional communities that are their actual primary community...not a demo for a video with no real members.
