Course UX like Skool ASAP

We just need a better UX like Skool did the courses. So easy to create and even easier for our clients to consume.

Exactly!
Ive wanted to use GHL for 5 years but your learning UX needs an overhaul. I am a learning designer and your course UX is excruciating for members to use. Everything else is great, but this is a deal breaker.
Here is my feedback on 3 massive issues to resolve and then GHL will have me, and all my clients, as a convert.
- When a user clicks a course, the dashboard top navigation of discussion / learning / members / events etc disappears. Why? It feels like you are pulling me offsite to an antiquated Kajabi (which is stuck in 2015 as was crap then)
- When I click a course it takes me to a pointless 'resume course page' which has no useful UX function. Users don't know how to use this page - its confusing and asks them to think too much.
- When I am in a category and watching a video, I can't see all the categories in that course. And when I click 'next category, it takes me back to the redundant category page (see point 2)
All in all - its too much clicking about when every course it could / should be:
- 1 click to enter
- complete navigation bar of all vids on side
- 1 click to watch any vid
- and I don't need to leave the dashboard to do this
Whilst they have many flaws, Skool has got this UX just right. You have made everything else amazing, why is this still so bad?

I agree. Skool's UI for courses and how it seamlessly works within the community is excellent. Also I like how there are simple drop down tabs for each course section. GHL's course sections make no sense right now. You need to go out of the section to see the next course section. It's not well thought out. Courses should be designed so that it's a seamless experience for the user and takes zero thought as to what to do next and how to get to the next lesson.

a community feature in there where people can chat and share is so needed!

This is important. I just downloaded the Kollab app and I feel the flow between course, community, profile should be smoother and under one consistent menu in the bottom. It now jumps around and changes (when in community vs customer portal) and disappears (course).
I personally dont see the need for the customer portal (the contents could just be in the profile/ billing section) as this menu is just confusing with «join a group» and «take a course».
Look at Skools ux flow as a model.
