To expand the use of Groups in Communities is having notifications so people know there's stuff going on there. They have to be configurable of course. Email, SMS, In App, Mobile?

Joel Buhr Right, people need to upvote this to actually finish this feature. Not sure why this is marked as complete when we cant manage what notifications go out and customize the notification email
Its tanking our send reputation and we cant turn it off bc its sending like 10 emails a day to our members.

in these "new comment on your post" emails, there are 2 footer messages for them to unsubscribe. This should be fixed as well.

I give up, I switched to Telegram group. I wanted to stay faithful to GHL but you didn't deliver for over 6 months despite 400 people expressing their interest.

This is not complete. My members do not receive notifications of new post. The "@everyone" tag only works for community members that actively participated in a channel. If someone post in a channel and another member has yet to participate, they will not be aware of any actions taken place.
At minimum, email to every community member needs to be added. Let the members have the choice of the frequency of notifications, but proper notification outside of an app needs to happen.
This isn't facebook where their is always traffic from daily use. These communities are new to many people, so they are not trained on checking conversations daily...like a regular social network.

Arnaud ITWish we could jump ship but we cant... begging ghl to fix the issues of allowing users to customize what notifications they can get and allow us to change what gets sent.

Currently we don't have the chat feature in communities. For all other communications, yes members get in-app notifications and emails too

Shivani Gera my bad, I didn't formulate that correctly. I meant I wrote a comment to a post in the community and the person didn't receive an email notification.
I also wrote a post in our general channel and no one received an email for that.
Maybe it's something we need to activate in the settings?
