This would be great. Only certain people can post but make sure to still allow all members to comment on posts or at least keep it as an option.

I can see that this functionality is "Planned", but it was first requested 15 months (1 1/4 years) ago. It was only shown as planned a few weeks ago. I have my community on a different venue now but I absolutely cannot move my community to GHL until this a feature is reality. PLEASE work on this!

This is 100000% necessary. I have an ANNOUNCEMENTS channel in my community that everyone needs to be able to VIEW, but only admins should be able to POST to it.

This would help a lot of community owners using Discord servers... This is a very commonly used feature and helps organize chats, and keeps an "AT A GLANCE" feel.
