KoachNinja CRM for Coaches it’s $49/month which for a real app in the Apple and Android store doesn’t seem that expensive to me. I’m not saying we won’t do a PWA but if $49 is too much I think you should be charging more. The big question with a PWA is how many of those do you use on your phone? I personally have 0 but maybe I’m in the minority.

Shaun Clark I got My whitelabel app for community in 2 weeks, i am lucky my app was approved quickly, Not sure how to send push notifications from highlevel and how to connect firebase to the highlevel ? Any help or documentation on this ?

HighLevel Support Why do we need a PWA we have both a gray label app and a white label app, if you look at PWA adoption it's really bad almost no one uses these. We did it for the courses before and it was a big flop. We will build it based on votes, but I don't think it will end up being used by almost anyone.

Shaun Clark the white label app is an additional cost and the grey label app is a downgrade. If the white label app was free, then great. But my clients are already using pwa, and I’ve been told from support for 6+ months communities was coming to pwa with no indication this was actually going to be available behind a paywall. We sold them on having their own app and now the only way to use communities without additional charge is for them to “downgrade” and use a grey label app.
I’m shocked pwa adoption was low, I’m sure the reason much be to do with implementation/ ease of use etc. Every client I’ve ever mentioned it to has loved the idea. Of course a native white label app is better but like I’ve said, there’s additional cost involved.

this is so frustrating, this is not just waiting for a feature to be released. PWA was previously working before the client portal was introduced. We promised the PWA to clients not knowing it would randomly be pulled with the introduction of the client portal and we are 4 months down the line and it still hasn't been addressed @Shaun Clark .This should be prioritised above completely new features as this isn't a new feature rather a half complete one . If you are going to temporarily disable a feature with the introduction of another, there should be an option to stick with the old version until the new one is fully complete.

HighLevel Support: We have a full white label mobile app being released at the end of this quarter. The course PWA still exists and should work now so you shouldn't have lost anything.

Shaun Clark: Thank you for the update. According to support there is no way to revert back from a client portal to the memberships so we can use the PWA. The client portal was rolled out with no option to use the memberships as far as I can remember. I honestly wouldn't have any issues with it taking as long as it needs to take if the old version was continued to be supported in the meantime.

Shaun Clark Any news on the white label app? Q1 has already passed. We don't have an option without this mobile app, GHL is not competitive. The white label app needs to be available to every GHL user, not just ones paying for a white label app upgrade.

Jodee Peevor thank you for responding! I must not have access to it. PWA is enabled in GHL, then I go into the client portal on my phone browser where courses are, but I do not see a way for clients to download the PWA after that.

With the new functionality of communities within the client portal- this is a must. Nobody is going to launch a community on GHL if there's no PWA functionality. The client portal and all its features are great being mobile optimized- but nobody is going to go to their browser and login every time to see it- ESPECIALLY with communities. I'm betting we all have communities we're waiting to launch because the PWA feature isn't here yet. This has to happen ASAP- especially with so many competitors coming up for communities. There's a trend right now and if this doesn't get going, we're gonna miss it. Crossing my fingers this will be done before January is over!!

Interesting... there's no functionality to turn on the PWA in the client portal section. The only spot that mentions PWA is in the memberships > courses > settings > app settings section. But that's just for the old legacy memberships thing. Maybe they pushed the update to you but not anybody else xD

Christina Sudduth: Yes, this used to be live. There used to be just the Memberships infrastructure, but then they added the Client Portal. For a while they both existed, but now they're moving everything that's related to memberships (courses, communities, etc) OVER to the Client Portal Infrastructure. So the old PWA no longer works- but they're working on getting the new PWA done for the Client Portal currently.

Christina Sudduth Thats not entirely true - the old PWA still works perfectly with the new cliebt portal - but yes we are waiting for the new PWA :)
