Custom Fields in client Portal

The Ability to use custom fields to display dynamic data inside of the client portal unique to each person logged in. We would love the ability to display details that users have submitted through forms, surveys or assigned custom fields. Also the option for the user to edit specific custom fields as well from inside the client portal.

We need Custom Fields to be available inside Communities and the Client Portal so we can display a member’s bespoke points balance.
Right now we can assign points via workflows (using custom fields), but Communities only shows the built in leaderboard points and does not allow us to show a custom field value on the profile or leaderboard. This blocks any real loyalty or reward programme where points are earned outside likes and comments (purchases, renewals, referrals, attendance, completions, etc.).
Request:
• Allow Custom Fields to be displayed in Communities and Client Portal pages (member profile and optionally card view).
• Ability to map a specific custom field (e.g. “Loyalty Points”) as the displayed points value in Communities, or show it alongside the native leaderboard points.
• Support basic formatting and real time updates so workflow changes reflect immediately.
This would unlock true loyalty programmes and paid communities with bespoke rewards, without needing external systems.

Oliver Sutton I agree this could really unlock some powerful capabilities in the client portal and communities. It would allow people to build some really awesome loyalty programs and truly personalized portals!

Same here, we need to be able to publish (wish it can be automated) a post in a community channel, that is chosen by the category selected in the form, from the data collected in a personalized opportunity form... We need to show our members, the opportunities on which they might be interested to work.

Even if we got an HTML editor for a single custom webpage within the portal, we could at least call the variable data. That would be pretty rough, but it would allow advanced users early access to hosting dashboards and custom data per-customer.

Please allow client portal to display custom fields / values depending on who logs in. Can build incredibly useful dashboards

100% I have had clients in my niche ask for this multiple times. It's very painful to say "no we can offer client portals but we can't show forms in client portals"
