Configuring Searchable Fields for Objects
We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows admins to configure which fields are searchable for Contacts, Opportunities, and Custom Objects across the platform. This customization enables more flexible and tailored search experiences, giving admins full control over what fields are included in search queries. The update also supports regex search for more advanced filtering.
Key Features:
- Configurable Searchable Fields:Admins can now select which fields are searchable for objects such as Contacts, Opportunities, and Custom Objects.
- You can choose up to 6 fieldsto be searchable. For Custom objects, the no of searchable fields is 3
- Global Changes: Once updated, the changes apply globallyacross all search bars in the platform
- Regex Search Support: Regex searchallows for more tailored and specific search queries.
- Search for additional email and additional phone- With this change, you will also be able to search for additional email and additional phone fields from the search box.
How to Use?:
- Navigate to Subaccount > Settings > Custom Fields.
- Click the kebab menu (three dots) on the top right and select Edit Searchable Fields.
- Choose the object (Contacts, Opportunities, Custom Objects) you want to configure.
- Select up to 6 fields to mark as searchable.
- Click Save and confirm the changes. These updates will be applied globally across all modules and users for the selected object.
