Bulk Create or upload Custom Fields/Values

When setting up a new account that is not included in a snapshot, manually entering and creating custom fields/values is a long an tedious process.
If there was the ability to upload a CSV or to bulk create these it would save a lot of time.

This would be great if we could upload a CSV file that had a value name in one column and a value in the other.

Creating Custom Fields in BULK

My colleagues and I have access to a huge lead database that gets updated daily with about 50,000 records per day. These records require 50 custom fields in GHL. Many of these fields may need a dropdown of 15 options. Adding this many custom fields manually is super tedious and I wish to have my CSV file uploaded and do the bulk update.

We would love to have the option to bulk upload/update/delete/create custom fields along with their values and options for drop downs. Would be incredibly helpful.

Hi guys, wanted to let you know that I built a marketplace app that can handle this feature. It's called Custom Object Importer and one of its functionalities is custom value uploads. You can find it in the app marketplace.

The Pain Point:
Uploading a new Contact or Opportunity CSV file is a major bottleneck because the field mapping process is so disruptive. If a column in our CSV doesn't match an existing GHL field, we must:
Identify the missing field during mapping.
STOP the CSV upload process.
Navigate away to the Custom Fields page.
Create the new custom field/value.
Navigate BACK to the CSV upload page.
Often restart the entire mapping process.
This multi-step navigation is extremely frustrating, especially for newer end-users, and discourages the proper use of custom fields needed for segmenting and automation.
The Solution:
When mapping a CSV column to a GHL field, please add a simple option (e.g., a "Create New Field" button or link) directly within the "Map To" dropdown list.
The Ideal Workflow:
User selects the CSV column.
User clicks the "Map To" dropdown.
User selects + Create New Field at the bottom of the list.
A modal pops up, allowing the user to quickly define the Field Name and Field Type (Text, Number, Select, etc.).
The field is created, and the CSV column is instantly mapped to the new field, without ever leaving the import page.

We need the ability to bulk import multiple Custom Values using a CSV file.
Use Case: When onboarding a new client or setting up a new sub-account template, we often have to create dozens (sometimes 50+) of custom values for tracking codes, affiliate links, branding information, and other standard data.
Currently, we must add every single custom value manually, one by one. This process is extremely time-consuming and prone to human error.
Proposed Solution: Please add an "Import" button on the Settings > Custom Values page. This would allow us to upload a CSV file with columns like:
Name
Key
Value
This would allow us to set up an entire sub-account's custom values in seconds.
Bonus Feature: It would also be ideal if this import function could update existing custom values (by matching the Key) in addition to adding new ones. This would make migrating clients or updating standard values across accounts much more efficient.
