Redesign Automation Layout

I am trying to take screenshots of my workflows for backup purposes, and I'd love to see the ability to move the ACTIONS in the workflow freely around the workspace. It's limited to only linear (down) unless I do a If/Then. I would love to be able to have the 20 actions fit in a full screen. It sucks having to keep scrolling down to see the entire workflow.

We’ve launched the Advanced Builder, giving you a flexible horizontal layout to design workflows with greater control and clarity -

Enable Workflows to be visually moved around screen

When clicking on a flow, a large popup comes up and a lot of times covers the workflows. It would be nice to be able to drag the workflows left, right, up and down to have the flows move where i want them on the screen

Modern Automation Visualization

Dear Go High Level team,
I wanted to suggest an upgrade to the current automation visualization in your platform. Both Keap and ManyChat had identical layouts where the flow branches moved downward, but they've since modernized their approach. They've implemented movable boxes, allowing users to place each action anywhere on the screen. Not only does this make the system easier and more intuitive, but it also allows for a more flexible, user-friendly experience. In ManyChat, for instance, the flow doesn't have to go just downward; it can also move sideways or to the right.
This adaptability offers two advantages:
It creates a more intuitive and comfortable user experience when setting up automations.
It allows for both modern and traditional layout options, catering to different user preferences.
I believe that incorporating such features into Go High Level would not only enhance functionality but also make the user experience extremely pleasant. I hope you consider implementing these changes to better meet the needs of your user base.
Best regards.

I think the best of both worlds here would be to have the current automation builder be the default, but to have the option of then grabbing each individual action and moving them. It would also be great to see the ability to snap them back into the "default" position if this were implemented.

A better option would be to export the automation in Yaml or something so it could be imported

I love the current builder, as it’s simple and streamlined. But maybe an option to export the workflow as a PDF would be a great option?

I would personally vote against this if there were the option. Making them movable means we would have to manually arrange them when building which would be really irritating. I personally like that the workflow board just arranges itself really nicely.
