is this for LC phone validation trigger? We need to filter landline phones and SMS phones - both show DND SMS, however landline is system generated NOT customer DND SMS.

You can add a workflow action which will call phone number validation API to verify the number and update the contact with a custom field telling if number is valid or not. You can then send SMS based on this information.

One of our clients is doing this with us and around 10% of all of their numbers were not messaging enabled.

General settings validate number not working? Use case. Bulk uploaded contacts. Then added them in bulk to a workflow. SMS failed (eg due to number being a landline), but number not added to SMS DND. Multiple retries, causing very high failure stats, and temp suspension.

This would be great to have a mid form or Survey OTC validation.
