Cant change email for GHL profile and locked out of account

My email address for my GHL profile is to my sub domain email address (my_email@mktg.XYZ.com). I have tried changing my email address from my sub domain to my domain email address (my_email@XYZ.com) that is used with google email platform.
But the issue that occurs is GHL says that a OTP is sent to the sub domain email address (my_email@mktg.XYZ.com) so that I can confirm that I am trying to change the email address. Unfortunately, the GHL conversations tab IS NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE OTP emails (for whatever reason).
I know this, b/c any other email sent to my sub domain email (my_email@mktg.XYZ.com) goes to the conversations tab, but the OTP ones do not.
There is NO OTHER WAY to change your profile email address, so if I forget my password or any other issue, then i will be officially locked out of my GHL account.
I tried asking support about this, but they said they are also locked out from changing anyone's email address or password and that a ticket had to be made for the dev team.
I have been waiting for a resolution for this, but still waiting.
THIS IS A HUGE SECURITY RISK AND SHOULD BE RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY.
I dont know why GHL does not have multiple ways to verify account ownership or multiple login methods or at least have warnings or make it impossible for someone to use their sub domain as the profile email address... you profile email address is what is used for all of your {{user.email}} tags and automations!!

Hey there I did the same thing on my agency owner profile and called support and got somewhat of the same. They ended up telling me to submit another ticket and this other team would get back to me in 2 days but never heard from them... However I did find a fix and thought I would share. You can create another profile with a secondary email you own, set that account as an Agency Admin and then go to your Agency Owner profile (the one with the sub-domain email that you want to change) and transfer ownership to that other profile you created. Now you can log into that other profile and change the email because it will send the OTP to that profile's email address. I hope this helps.
