Currently, the "Send Bot to Sleep" feature pauses the bot during manual interventions, but there is no native way to distinguish between a "manual human message" and a "workflow-initiated SMS." This means a manual message might stop the bot when we want it to stay active for other automations, or vice versa.
Request: Add a setting to the Conversation AI workflow action to selectively "stop or pause this AI action only when a user/admin sends a manual message, but keep it running when a workflow sends an SMS."
Current workarounds like manually removing contacts from workflows or changing bot status are inefficient for scaling. This feature would allow live reps to take over seamlessly without breaking automated nurture sequences.
