this is desperately needed!! I saw someone mention below this is necessary for health questionnaires/intake forms and I have some potential companies who need a PDF sent out, once a form or survey is submitted. Please make this happen!

We need this feature desperately, and it shouldn't be too hard to just be able to access that form submission pdf in workflows, contacts, etc. Right now there is no way to deliver form or survey submissions outside of GHL to an email, text, media storage, etc.

Yes, this feels like a very standard Survey submission function. Having the PDF (or any document type) stored in the customer CONTACT area in Documents seems logical. If I am missing something, then someone let me know. Currently only have access to the data in Custom Fields, which is long winded for the client. Hoping that I am simply overlooking something, but can't currently find a solution.

I spend SO many hours making workarounds because this isn't DEFAULT and I have no idea why. If somebody fills out a form we should be able to automate a PDF of that form being sent wherever we want:
Emailed to internal or external people
Uploaded to Google Drive
Added to the contacts Document Library
Please prioritize this feature. It's a desperate need and would really make GHL a replacement for other form engines. It's been under review for 2 years!

Desperate for this, so the form /survey is completed eg with Signature and Custom Values completed, a copy can then be put into an email as an attachment (Automatically) in workflows.

Feature Request: Automatic PDF Generation and Profile Integration for Survey Submissions in GHL
Objective: To streamline the process of handling survey submissions by automatically generating and storing PDF versions of the surveys in the client's profile, and enabling seamless workflow integration for sending these PDFs.
Current Challenge:
When a survey is submitted, the results are visible in the customer fields and the history pane.
To get a PDF version, the current process involves:
Navigating to Surveys > Submissions.
Searching for the specific submission.
Downloading the PDF.
Attaching the PDF to the client profile manually.
Setting up an action to send the PDF.
Proposed Solution:
REQUEST - Automatic PDF Generation and Storage with workflow functions:
Upon survey submission, automatically generate a PDF of the completed survey.
Store this PDF directly under the client's profile in the native Documents tab.
Workflow Integration:
Enable the creation of workflows that automatically attach the generated PDF to an email or SMS.
Allow for the transfer of the PDF from one client's Documents section to another client's profile if needed.
Profile and Document Management:
Once a survey is submitted, the workflow should automatically:
Generate the PDF.
Store the PDF under the client’s profile in the Documents tab.
This should eliminate the need for manual navigation and attachment processes.
Enhanced Workflow Capabilities:
Allow workflows to send the PDF as an attachment via email/SMS directly after submission.
Enable the workflow to move or copy the PDF to another profile’s Documents section if required, facilitating easy transfer and record-keeping.
Workflow Example:
Survey Submission:
A client fills out and submits a survey.
Automatic Processing:
GHL automatically generates a PDF of the survey.
The PDF is stored under the client’s profile in the Documents tab.
Workflow Automation:
A workflow is triggered by the survey submission.
The workflow attaches the generated PDF to an email/SMS.
The email/SMS is sent to the client or another designated recipient.
If needed, the workflow can also transfer the PDF to another profile’s Documents section.
Benefits:
Saves time by automating PDF generation and storage.
Reduces errors associated with manual handling.
Enhances record-keeping by storing PDFs in the client’s profile.
Improves workflow efficiency by enabling automatic sending and transfer of PDFs.
Conclusion:
Implementing these features for us will significantly improve the efficiency and usabilit for handling survey submissions for us! Automatically generating and storing PDFs in the client profile, along with enhanced workflow capabilities, will streamline processes and improve client service immensely!
