The Problem
HighLevel has an App Marketplace that allows users to install third-party applications and integrations on desktop.
However, users should also be able to access and use those same Marketplace apps directly within HighLevel's mobile applications, including SaaSpreneurs' white-label mobile apps.
Currently, there isn't a clearly documented, standardized mobile extension framework that guarantees Marketplace apps can provide their interfaces across desktop and mobile.
This limits the potential of the App Marketplace and creates an inconsistent experience across devices.
### Proposed Solution
Extend the existing HighLevel App Marketplace to support mobile applications, including SaaS Mode white-label mobile apps.
The goal is simple: If a user installs a Marketplace app on desktop, they should be able to use that same app on mobile, provided the developer supports mobile.
Key Features
  1. Unified App Marketplace:
Allow Marketplace apps to work across desktop, HighLevel mobile apps, and SaaS Mode white-label mobile apps.
  2. One Installation, Multiple Devices:
Installing an app on desktop should automatically make it available on mobile without requiring another installation.
  3. Mobile App Extensions:
Allow developers to extend the mobile application's interface with custom screens, navigation items, dashboards, and functionality.
  4. Mobile Developer SDK:
Provide a standardized SDK or extension framework for developers to create mobile-compatible Marketplace apps.
  5. Embedded App Experience:
Allow users to interact with Marketplace apps directly inside the mobile application without opening an external browser.
  6. Native Mobile Features:
Support device capabilities such as cameras, file uploads, push notifications, and location access through permission-controlled APIs.
  7. Synchronized Authentication and Data:
Maintain consistent app permissions, authentication, settings, and data across desktop and mobile.
  8. Mobile Marketplace Management:
Allow users to discover, install, manage, and uninstall supported Marketplace apps directly from mobile.
  9. White-Label SaaS Compatibility:
Ensure Marketplace apps work inside SaaSpreneurs' branded mobile applications while respecting agency branding, permissions, and app availability settings.
  10. Developer Publishing Options:
Allow Marketplace developers to specify desktop support, mobile support, or both when publishing applications.
How It Should Work
For Users:
Install a Marketplace app on desktop → Open the mobile app → Access the installed app → Continue using it seamlessly.
For Developers:
Build a Marketplace app → Add a mobile-compatible interface → Publish it through the existing Marketplace → Make it available across supported desktop and mobile applications.
For SaaSpreneurs:
Enable Marketplace apps for their SaaS offering → Customers install the apps → Customers access those apps through both the desktop platform and the branded mobile app.
Why This Matters
HighLevel is building an ecosystem of third-party applications, but that ecosystem should extend beyond desktop.
Customers expect their software and integrations to work across all their devices.
For SaaSpreneurs, this is especially important because we're building fully branded software platforms. Our customers should have access to the same Marketplace ecosystem whether they're using our software
