"Won" date on actual close date for reporting instead of date created
planned

With SaaS mode becoming a bigger part of high level, it would be helpful to have the date that populates in reporting to be based off of the date won. I don't know of many businesses that count a deal/income on the date it was created. A majority mark a sale and income on the actual day it closes.

Workaround:
Create a custom date field on the opportunity called “Date Closed.” Then, build a workflow that triggers when the opportunity status is changed to “Won”, and have it automatically set the Date Closed field to “Today.”
Because it’s a custom field, you can also manually adjust it later if needed - great for correcting anything after the fact.
Reporting:
You can then create a custom widget in your dashboard that filters by Status = Won and groups by Date Closed - whether that’s daily, weekly, or monthly.

Being able to adjust the won and creation date would be great too.

It seems they have no intention to give ability to edit Won and Lost date where it is quite essential especially when switching from HubSpot

I cant believe this is a 4 year old request and still hasn't been implemented. Looks like I will never get this feature.

How about also adding an age indicator to the opp card?

Yes please, we need to be able to produce sales information per month, this is basic for tracking sales. Extremely importan that this follows through to the dashboard so we can show a graph of sales per month.

Very relevant for analysis aswell. Often, my clients don't immediately put their customers on won. In this case, a customer was won in february, but this customer slipped passed their checks until now (may), so we need to be able to attribute this customer to the month february instead of the now inflated month may.

yes please, I need this for past clients so when we do follow up we actually have the correct date of sale and for automatization too
