Modify a PAID Invoice

Few times I made small mistake in my invoices, like wrong phone number, or mistake in the address or the name.
My client get the PAID invoice by email and then contact me to correct the invoice and send it back. BUT WE CAN'T. For now it's not possible to modify a PAID invoice and send it back. It doesn't make sense.
I use also Quickbook and they do have this option.

This is true. But we also need to have an ability even "after the payment been applied to modify." I loved in Infusionsoft by Keap to have the ability to edit after the fact.
