Gift Card Should Reduce Amount Due as a Payment

When a gift card is applied to the checkout screen, the amount of the gift card should be visibly deducted from the amount due. The current process absolutely gives the impression you are paying the full amount, all the way through the thank you page. Even the receipt given afterward gives no indication the amount was reduced.
