GHL needs a complete UI/UX revamp - This app is amazing just needs to be beautiful

The only thing that GHL falls short when you see the new CRM apps that are popping up is UI/UX. Well this is extremely important to the end consumer. Not us the agencies but the person that we are selling and providing support.
In many ways the app is counter intuitive and you have to jump around tabs and features to execute things that should be right there.
This is a huge ask. But I think this will be a massive competitive advantage if implemented well.
We could model the UI/UX on Notion, Tana, GumLoop, these app are beautiful and it is super pleasant to be there everyday.
GHL is a everyday all-in-one app, and we love it!

Absolutely true, currently the experience is not very positive for the final consumer and they say that the platform is not very intuitive compared to other CRM systems and this is essential.

Modernizing UX/UI with a Focused, App-Based Workspace (Remove Right Sidebar Navigation)

Currently, the right-side navigation menu in GoHighLevel reduces the effective workspace and creates a slightly crowded, less modern interface—especially for users working on complex tasks like automation, funnels, or CRM management.
I propose a more modern, focused UX approach by transitioning from a persistent sidebar navigation to a single-app, full-width workspace model.
How it would work:
Replace the sidebar with a top navigation dropdown (or switcher).
Users select the module they want to work in (e.g., Marketing, Contacts/CRM, Automations, Sites, etc.) from the top.
Once selected, the interface becomes a dedicated, full-screen workspace for that module only.
All relevant sub-features for that module are displayed within this focused environment.
Example:
Selecting “Marketing” → displays only marketing-related tools (campaigns, email builder, triggers, etc.)
Selecting “Contacts” → switches to a full CRM-focused interface
Selecting “Sites” → opens a distraction-free funnel/website builder workspace
Benefits:
Maximized workspace: More horizontal space for builders, dashboards, and data-heavy views
Cleaner UI: Reduces visual clutter and improves overall aesthetics
Modern feel: Aligns with current SaaS UX trends (modular, app-like experiences)
Better focus: Users stay within one context at a time, improving productivity
Scalability: Easier to expand features within each module without overwhelming the interface
Conclusion:
This shift from a sidebar-driven layout to a top-level app switcher with full-page modules would significantly modernize GoHighLevel’s UX, improve usability, and create a more focused, premium user experience.
