Custom User Types

Right now we have only two user roles/types, admin and user I think. Just two.
What we need is the ability to create custom user roles and assign different permissions to each user roles without having to do it for each user.
ALSO
MUST be able to assign multiple roles to a user because people are often more than one role, especially in small businesses. We should be able to assign roles to a contact or to an opportunity based on rules the same as booking calendars (a specific person, based on priority rules, or round robin)This would assist in project management when you have an estimator, a salesperson, an account manager, etc... But we have no way of managing this in high level to make sure each deal or each contact is managed properly. All I've done is create a very convoluted method of custom values and custom fields and custom scripting and it is a messy messy nightmare.
This may be like the idea "user levels or roles (not just permissions) but it's key to attach more than one role to a user and assign users with the same methods as calendars

Ability to create custom users and be able to assign their permissions. This will save time when creating new users in thinking what they are able to have access to...

I have worked with a dozen different CRMs and this is a capability in all of them. It is incredibly stupid for custom roles/permissions not to be available in GHL, and GHL is not a stupid company.

If we can do Create User and have the Permissions be in Workflow Actions... or have User Roles and choose a user role in the Workflow Actions... In any case will speed up a lot and keep all things organized with users and roles and permissions

It would be ideal to have the ability to add roles as a dropdown on opportunities then be able to set users in those fields...
example... you want sales person, sales manager and technician as 3 user fields on an opporutnity.... you will assign different people in those roles on different opportunities...
The REASON is so you can set up routine actions and messages that need to go out to the "sales person" or the "technician" at different times or be triggered by various actions (like informing a technician the job is ready for install over sms, or adding a task for them... or informing a sales manager that an invoice was paid or that the deal moved to a certain stage in the pipeline)

User Levels or Roles (not just permissions)

there must be a way to have more user levels (not just admin or user)... Such that users can be divided up into teams with a team leader and then leaders can go underneath a region leader which roll up to the admin. This is important for sales businesses so that each user can have their own leads, and for example, there can be 5 users underneath a team lead with another 5 users under a separate team lead and another set of 5 under another team lead. Then all 3 team leads could roll up to a regional leader and multiple regionals could roll up to the main account admin/company owner.
Solar Industry example: there are 3 vans with 6 seats in each van.
A van consists of 5 door knockers and 1 sales closer. Each knocker needs to see (and work) their own leads. But only their specific closer needs to see all the leads for each knocker in their own van. However, the closer should not be able to see leads from other van's knocker. Then a level up from that, the closer manager/regional see all the leads which are assigned only to the vans which are under them... basically allow GHL to be subdivided into teams within each account

I've got clients in my niche just waiting on this so they can come across and manage there team workflows. Multiple roles against a client and work flows, tasks,to different people dependant on their role.
This would also need an interface enhancement so tasks can be viewed in different ways from a personal, team and business management perspective.
Reporting would be the icing on the cake. Aka Monday morning team meeting where are we at.

This would be very useful! If we could create a user template for each "office user", "sales" and "field" that require different access/settings, and apply them accordingly as new users are created.

when is this coming? It's been on deck for a long time and so many requests for it

Also the ability to restrict data access, for example based on user level or role User 1 can access XYZ folder and its data vs User 2 cannot
