Please allow an opportunity to attach to a proposal and or invoice, so that custom fields in opportunities can be used. because each job is different, and should not be at the contact level.

How is it that we have the ability to create custom fields within an opportunity, use those opportunity custom fields within a Form or Survey, but not within Documents & Contracts?
We need the ability to use opportunity custom fields within Documents & Contracts as contact information is not the only thing that needs to populate in a Document or Contract. The use of opportunity custom fields offers users the ability to associate fields that are not relevant to a contact but more to an opportunity.
An opportunity implies a sold product or service. Therefore, if a document or contract needs to include data from an opportunity it should be able to facilitate the use of the opportunity custom field to populate data into the document or contract that will need to be signed.

When a proposal or estimate is sent it would be nice to have it show up in the contact card other than the conversation...maybe an estimate, proposal, invoice dropdown?
Would also be a nice bonus to tie it to an opportunity card as well.

Opportunity fields become very useless when they cant be used account wide...

I'm really in need of this feature. At this point a contact can't have multiple projects in play because the details get over written when using merge variables.
I have a sub account using this for events and if the details get changed for event 2 the confirmation emails are no longer the right info.
Help all event planners use HL!!!
