When we go through opportunities with our sales team, we usually look at the pipeline and open each opportunity we need to discuss. However, discussions suffer because we can't see which conversations have happened directly on the opportunity card. Instead, we have to load the contact to look at the conversations, then we have to go back to the pipeline to continue with the next opportunity.
It is very cumbersome. It would be much easier if we could see the conversations directly in the opportunity so we don't have to load the contact and go back every time.

Agreed, having to open multiple tabs is very inefficient. This would be a huge value add if possible to open up the conversations right there

Yes, yes, yes! Add in a little push notification on each opportunity card that has an unread message, and this would be gold!

This is so needed: include in this feature:
-automations to allocate multiple followers per opportunity
-button on op card to view linked conversation & be able to filter sender, sort
-ability to switch to opportunity convo list in conversations
- reply to a convo thread in the opp card
-automation notifications to contacts in the thread as a trigger
-when creating an opportunity Automations to select the opp is a linked/unl
- ability in thread to tag a person in the thread

Goal is to create a level privacy and hierarchy in the organization for users.
1) Creating organization hierarchy - in an example, if I give Assigned and/or follower access to an opportunity of a contact, as an "Owner" of contact, my general conversation are never visible to anyone else (unless I am giving direct access to a user of mine to that specific contact) but all conversation to the opportunity are visible to me as the owner and only to the individuals that are involved in that specific opportunity.
2) Assigning multiple opportunities that belong to the same contact either to same followers (users) or different followers

Pallavi Kothari please please please also add in the option to communicate/email additional contacts within an opportunity. Especially in the property/mortgage/events/entertainment sectors, we often have multiple contacts that messages/comms need to go to. Replies should be threaded when received from all parties too. 🙏

Opportunity specific conversation thread

It would be a great feature to have the ability to have a conversation thread dedicated specifically for an opportunity. Example. Sales opportunity is created for contact name. You could have multiple opportunities with that individual contact but the conversations (email/sms) would be consolidated to that specific opportunity to keep them organized and streamlined. Could also have multiple contacts in that one opportunity as well. The use case I am looking at is for a customer who handles equipment sales, has contacts they are selling to but is also getting lots of quotes from vendors to provide a proposal to the sales contact. There is a lot of back and forth in the general inbox and tieing those conversations to a dedicated opportunity would be really slick. Thanks!!

I totally back this idea. Currently, the opportunity view provides limited information on the opportunity itself and this is a critical part of my business (and I assume many other businesses). The layout is also quite awful to have it as a pop up frame. It should be more like the "contact" view, but with notes, activity logs related only to this opportunity.

Currently if we want to send a message to a lead from the opportunity view we need to click on the contact name at the top of the opportunity card, go to the contact view and do the conversation there, then come back to the opportunity view.
We would like to be able to view the conversation and send messages within the opportunity view. It seems logical to put this inside the pop-up that contains all the opportunity details, perhaps underneath 'Notes'.
I've added a screengrab with a suggestion/idea for this.
It would save a lot of back and forth for sales people working the pipeline.
