A use case is a master project in one pipeline for an overall project status and then specific projects/tasks in another pipeline. Reduces the need for custom objects if there are a lot of similar fields but you just need project level visibility.

Hi everyone, this is now built and in private beta as part of the new Opportunities experience. Opportunities can now be linked to other opportunities with a label you define, so a master project in one pipeline can show its related opportunities in other pipelines. Task dependencies and Gantt views aren't part of this release.
