Need Ability to Import CSV list of Opportunities from an old CRM into GHL's Opportunities and Contact List

When importing a CSV file of contacts for my client into their new GHL CRM we made, there is not an option to import opportunity name, opportunity status, lead value, or dates. Also, we need to be able to sort contacts by purchase history and then we could also select that as an option when importing the CSV file. It is a bit tough to try to persuade a client to change CRMs if it means they lose all of their old opportunity data or have to manually input everything one by one. The last upgrade I would suggest to help clients is to allow sources to saved as labels (like we do for tags). That way they can keep it uniform when filling in where the lead came from. Thanks for taking all of this into consideration!

Yes, I would like to import opportunities without having to import contacts for each opportunities. Them the ability assign contacts to the corresponding opportunity.

It's quite a hassle. We needed to import four years worth of data from Pipedrive, but in order to keep that historical data, I have to maintain a Pipedrive license. Although I successfully transferred over 90 active leads from Pipedrive to GHL, the creation date on GHL is the date I transferred them, which completely skews my sales funnel data. As a result, GHL thinks that I had 90 new leads in my first month, which is far from accurate.

Oh man I wish I would have done research before creating over 50 custom fields and to my surprise - I cannot import any of them over! This is a HUGE BUMMER. SO 2.5 years someone suggested/asked for this and it still hasn't become an option yet?

Larry Le: I just added over 100 custom opportunity fields expecting to assign during the contact import for over 5k leads... what a total waste of time. Even the automation hack to create on import is super limited...

Justin Coomber: This is still not even a solution as you cannot get your historical WON / LOST opportunities

Justin Coomber: I just did a littler research and found there is a pretty good Zapier connection that would allow you to create new opportunities at volume. You could either create a zap between your own CRM and GHL and then use a trigger to send over the opportunities. The only issue I see is not being able to import the WON dates. For any serious company wanting to make the switch, this is going to be a deal breaker

Being able to import Opportunities is a basic feature, it must also support the ability to recognize "Won Dates" that way you will keep all your historical sales data
