Mandatory Fields

Allow when creating a field in both contacts and opportunities, to define if these are mandatory fields, this gives versatility to the system, and ensures that the required fields are filled out for correct processes
As an additional note, it would be excellent if a mandatory field could be requested through some function or workflow so that at some point it could be requested, for example
When changing a contact from Lead to Customer, make the TAX ID mandatory, this would help a lot to improve many filling processes

Agreed. We need to make certain other fields in the opportunity required. Without this feature, we are stuck with using a custom form which is clunky, and is hard to scale, and has had problems. We would to just use the Opportunity they have built in, but with the ability to make some fields required.

I'd like to be able to make it mandatory by stage in the pipeline (can't move to stage X without filling in the field).

This. Major need. Lack of this control is 100% a reason people will choose alternatives platforms. And it’s legitimate.
