Add ability to use opportunity custom fields as we use contact custom fields. Use them to trigger automations, conditions in automations, math operations etc… also allow them to be variables used in email templates.

Wait, I am so confused. Are you telling me after i just spent a month setting everything up, that I CANT use opportunity custom fields in automation emails? This makes NO sense. Please tell me there is a work around?

Absolutely needed, if a custom field is created then its logical that the field is available across all areas: Templates, Emails, Workflow, Funnel CMS etc...
Its weird that this was not included from the outset.

Jeremy Biggs, you need to create an automation that convert those opportunity fields into contact field and then you can use those in emails. This is only the workaround right now.

We can use opportunity custom fields in workflow automations. Now they need to add the opportunity custom fields for email/text templates

This is incredibly important. The integration of custom fields from opportunities into our automation system is crucial for optimising efficiency.
Currently, we can only utilise custom fields from contacts, which significantly restricts our ability to trigger automations effectively. This limitation becomes particularly evident when a single contact is associated with multiple opportunities, often the case when they engage with various services or grouping of services.
Each opportunity can have unique custom fields that are essential for determining the activation of specific automations. However, under the current system, these opportunity-based custom fields are not accessible for automation triggers. This leads to a significant challenge: as the number of opportunities per contact can be vast, it would require an impractical and inefficient expansion of the contact custom field list to accommodate them.
