Associate multiple contacts by role

I'd like to be able to assign contacts by role in the opportunity. For example, in a real estate transaction, we have:
- Buyer
- Seller
- Agent
- Title
- Transaction coordinators
- Etc
I'd love to be able to have specific types so when we set up email templates or send documents, we can send those emails to specific parties in the transaction and when sending documents, you can assign signature blocks to the role instead of a specific person.

We should be able to link 2 contacts to an opportunity

As a property business we have couples buying property together. Both are our clients. Both are signing our agreements. They buy one house. It doesn't make sense to have 2 opportunities / deal cards for them. They both will sit under the same deal card.
Never seen a CRM that doesn't allow 2 contacts to be linked to one deal card.
Can this enhancement be considered.

Opportunity Roles

Thank you for allowing multiple contacts to be attached to an opportunity. However, I fail to see the use in this other than the ability to check if someone else attached to the opportunity.
There NEEDS to be the ability to create custom named roles that can be added or subtracted as needed and communicated with separateIy and workflow selections that allow the sending and receiving of relevant information/documentation to/from the specific role.
GHL is an amazing platform and you guys are so close to blowing every other software I have ever used completely out of the water.
However, I very much fail to understand why everything seems to be centred around the contact rather than the opportunity. An opportunity should be able to exist without a contact at all.
THIS ONE SHIFT/CHANGE IN PERSPECTIVE (although potentially not easy) WOULD COMPLETELY CHANGE THE GAME FOR GHL AND IT'S USERS.
