Assigning Multiple users to different Opportunities

when I create 2 different opportunities in different pipelines - I'm able to assign 2 different owners, but when I look at the opportunity.. the last updated owner gets assigned to both the opportunities. This appears to be by design but can we change this functionality. I want to be able to have multiple opportunities and assign them to different users.

Hi Everyone,
We have enabled the feature to have different users or owners in different opportunities. This can be enabled through Labs and updating the opportunity owner will add the new owner as a follower to the contact.
There’s also an option to add followers to an opportunity - this way multiple users can have access to the same opportunity
You can find this feature near the owner fields in both Add/ Edit opportunities.
For the feature to assign multiple contacts to an opportunity, please refer: https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/crm/p/multiple-contacts-per-opportunity
Thanks for your continued feedback on making the platform better.

Pallavi Kothari does this allow emails to CC-all-contacts or manually select which contacts to email from the opportunity?
Ideally, I can manually select which associated contacts to send an email to, and the system will tag the conversation so that any responses to that conversation will show up in the communications log for THAT opportunity.
It's common for me to have multiple people associated with multiple opportunities (but person A may not be on all the same opportunities as person B or C, so I need their responses to be tracked back to the source opportunity from which the original message/conversation came).
And ideally, we can designate "roles" for various contacts so we can create rules to automatically send certain communications to the various roles, regardless of how many people have been assigned to each role within the opportunity.

Why this isnt a thing is beyond me.
As a real estate investor an oportunity can have owners sellers tenants real estate agents wholesalers attorneys title companies. They are all associated to an opportunity and I need to see who is connected to any opportunity

Pallavi Kothari will this also be flowing through to allow Workflows to assign Opportunity to a new owner without changing the Contact owner?

Yes and also a report for the original assigned user who closed the opportunity (sales reps) so we have the data for them because once the opportunity is won by the sales rep that client then gets assigned to an account manager and all that data goes to that account manager. We need to be able to keep those won stats with the Sales rep if that makes sense.

AND the ability to do this in workflows. theyve added the above function, but it really isnt useful without the ability to do it automatically

I definitely agree that opportunities in different Pipelines should be assignable to different users. This is nearly a necessity for us and I have been making many attempts at ways to achieve this with no success just yet. Please make this possible!

This needs to come to fruition, having the ability to assign multiple users to a single opportunity offers flexibility in how we can hide assigned data to those users. Either make it a team/group like function or simply allow multiple users to be assigned to a single opportunity/contact (preferably both).

This would be an incredible and much needed feature. Not even Hubspot offers this.

Same here, this is urgent need. We also need to add multiple companies to opportunities. This is pretty standard in CRM's.
