For contacts that have multiple opportunities, we need to be able to leave notes specifically for each opportunity rather than it being saved under the main contact notes section. It gets too messy when leaving notes for specific jobs related to the same contact.

When adding a note, it should be obvious which opportunity it’s linked to, especially if a contact has multiple. The system should display all opportunities linked to the contact first (rather than defaulting to the most recent opportunity in the pipeline), and visually highlight which one the note is associated with (e.g. using colour coding). This helps reduce errors and improves clarity when reviewing notes later.

Pallavi Kothari What about deleting opportunities, does this delete the opportunity note? Does it revert to being a contact note? What happens here, also need this in the help article as well.

Notes would only be deleted if all the associated entities are deleted.

If this is a separate object it should have its own fields and only a LINK to the contact not a direct sharing of data per object. This is desperately needed. Glad it is in progress. Hopefully it is done soon.

Pallavi Kothari That's a very good idea. I would like to add something to improve the opportunity function. You could color the individual opportunities, optionally, to create order in the pipeline stage.

This is a crucial feature to have and has been incorporated into every other CRM I have ever used. As it is now, when you have several opportunities (even won/closed/lost ones) assigned to the same contact, the notes section in each opportunity shows all the notes that were ever recorded in every opportunity which makes it a complete nightmare to find the notes that are actually relevant to a specific opportunity.

You can add a Custom Field of Multi-Line Text Box and move it to the top of the Opportunity card? And call it "Notes". I agree it should be built-in but the workaround is simple

Austin Hall Good idea as a temporary fix but then you have one text box that is filled with multiple notes all in the same field and without any date/time tagging as well as showing who made the notes.
