Allow edit of some Opportunity Standard Fields

With the new custom opportunity fields we can now see the standard opportunity field, but they non-editable. I'd like the ability to edit a few, specifically the "Status" field. Similar to how we can edit the "Contact Type" standard field. It would be very helpful if we could edit this field and change the names of the statuses. It would let us customize this feature to fit our individual clients needs. For example we could change Won to Closed, or Abandoned to Nurture.

This will help GHL users to support multiple industries more effectively that already have their own nomenclature in place.

Can we please get this on the schedule! I have clients with leads that don't match any of these statuses (like 'unqualified' leads) and I'd like to use a workflow to delete them automatically.

I really need this too. I need to 'Unqualified' so we can create a workflow so these get removed. We get a lot of spam calls, folks looking for jobs, etc. and I don't want them included as opportunities.

We really need this. My client who uses the system with a team of 7 users all day err day has issues with people typing misspellings and alternate spellings of opportunity/contact sources which is making reporting impossible. ADMIN SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL THIS FIELD by adding dropdowns to select from a limited list this should not be AN OPEN TEXT FIELD.
