Currently, when clicking on a deal card in the Opportunities pipeline (Kanban view), the user is redirected to the associated contact record instead of the opportunity itself. This behavior is inefficient, especially in B2B or project-driven environments where teams manage multiple deals per organization.
Having to locate the relevant opportunity manually within the contact's record adds unnecessary friction to the workflow and disrupts user focus.
We suggest the following enhancement:
Clicking on a deal card should open a detailed view of the opportunity itself (e.g., a side panel, modal, or full page).
Alternatively, include a direct link or quick action (like an “Open Deal Details” button) on the card or within the contact record that opens the specific opportunity.
Why it matters:
Reduces number of clicks and time spent navigating.
Enhances clarity for teams managing high volumes of deals or multiple contacts per company.
Improves user experience and aligns with standard CRM practices.
This change would be a major productivity boost for all users who rely on the Opportunities pipeline for day-to-day operations.
