Future dating invoices

With the new invoice format we are unable to enter a future "Issue Date" for invoicing. This is problematic on several fronts. Invoices are often created ahead of time. In my basic example I will often create an invoice for my client with an end of month date and as I complete small tasks I will add them to the invoice and at the end of the month send the invoice.
I am sure there are many other needs to future date invoices.
To take it a step further HL could then auto send the invoice on the issue date.
Thanks

Yes, the ability to edit billable line items up until the scheduled send date then automatically send. Effectively the invoice is in draft mode until invoice date then activates and sends without the human having to remember. The last billable hours might have been 3 weeks ago (or 0 hours that month!). If no billable hours at least the invoice serves as a reminder that you are available.

I agree with this 100%. Our client has a use case where they agree to buy something now, but the project won't start until the beginning of the next month. While it's fresh on their mind, they should be able to create the invoice, set the due date to some date in the future and essentially schedule the email to go out on a certain day. This is pretty common with other invoicing systems that I've used, and the client is scratching their heads about why they can't do this in GHL. I'd love to see this prioritized.
