I’d love to see an option to easily add custom fields to order forms. Right now, it seems like we may need to rely on CSS, but I’ve tried several variations and haven’t been able to successfully add an extra field for collecting important information during the purchase process.
It would be fantastic if there were a built-in feature to add additional fields without needing a two-step order form. Having this flexibility on the main form would streamline checkout and ensure we get all the necessary information upfront.
I think this would be a great enhancement for more customizable and user-friendly order forms!

Restaurants need this for printing new orders in the kitchen with special instructions. I'm surprised you cant print the built in notes feature of the checkout in internal or email notifications for 80mm thermal kitchen printers - such a big demand for this.

It would be great to be able to add standard fields as well - company registration number, VAT/Tax number. These are important details to capture when working B2B, particularly if you have customers in different countries.
