Current Behavior:
When a customer selects a quantity on a funnel order form payment step (e.g. 3 bags of ice), that quantity is stored in the order record only. It is never saved to the contact record. The only way to capture quantity as a contact field is to ask the customer to enter it manually on the info form, resulting in double entry.
The Problem:
Business owners cannot see quantity in workflow notifications (contact fields only)
Customers must enter the same quantity twice for it to be trackable
Double-entry creates friction and opportunity for mismatched data
Requested Enhancement:
When a product quantity is selected on a funnel order form step, automatically map that quantity to a configurable contact custom field.
This would allow: {{contact.quantity}} to be available in workflow notifications
No double entry required from the customer
Full order context in a single notification
Impact: High — affects all businesses using multi-step funnel order forms for physical product fulfillment
