What feature would you like to see?
The ability for users to start filling out a form or survey, exit, and return later via a unique link that picks up where they left off.
Why is this feature important?
In real-world scenarios especially with longer, multi-step forms—users often need to gather additional info or documents before completing the process. Without a “save & resume” function, they’re forced to start over, leading to frustration and drop-off.
Example use case:
A potential client begins filling out an onboarding form or service application. Midway through, they realize they need to grab documents like a license, insurance paperwork, or past records. They leave with the intent to come back—but currently, there’s no way to pick up where they left off.
What should it do?
Auto-save responses as a user progresses
Generate a resume link (via email or redirect) so they can return later
Option to auto-resume via cookie/session if on the same device
Store partial progress in contact record or custom object (ideal for follow-up logic)
Current limitation:
HighLevel does support “Create Contact on Partial Submission,” but users cannot return to a form/survey and continue from where they left off. This is a gap compared to tools like Jotform, Typeform, and Outgrow.
Who would benefit?
Coaches, agencies, and course creators collecting detailed intake
Local service providers requiring uploads, ID verification, or scheduling
Anyone using multi-step logic with conditional workflows
Why it matters:
This would improve UX, increase form completion rates, and allow for more sophisticated, real-world workflows—all within HighLevel.
Let’s make GHL forms even more powerful and user-friendly. Would love to see this added!
