Unique Coupon Codes
A
Aaron Watkins
We would like the ability to create coupons that are uniquely generated for whatever the product/offer is.
For example - right now you can create a coupon for $10 off and give it a code 123ABC. The problem is that someone could post this code online and anyone who gets it can use it for the $10 off.
What we want is a system that we can generate a coupon for $10 off where every single person gets their own code. Person 1 gets 123ABC, but person 2 gets 1A2B3C, etc. No two people get the same code for this offer and we can see in the customer profile that they have gotten this code and the status of if they used it (even better if that status is something that could be used in the automation builder so we could remind people to use their coupons).
This would have the benefit of essentially being able to create a gift certificate system where you create a dollar value coupon and then sell it to someone.

Automated Coupon Code Generation

It would be SO awesome if we could have a workflow action that would generate a coupon code when someone fills out a pop up.
For example, they visit the online store site, a few seconds on the site, a pop up to subscribe to the list and get a 10% off first purchase code. We need to be able to have the coupon code generate a one time usage code to be included in a auto responder email.

I mean technically you could just post a generic code (e.g., MAY20OFF) and set it so it can only be used once per customer.
HOWEVER it would be great if they made it configurable so it only works for new customers. That would reduce the need to build out a much more complicated system.

Coupon Generation/Expiration on Individual Contact Basis

Would like to see one-time coupon generation option/action in emails/workflows that has an expiration based on when the coupon was generated for that specific contact.
For example: I want to create a new client promotion that offers a coupon for their purchase of a service following their free consultation, however I want the coupon to be randomly generated for that specific client and expire after x amount of days.
Currently, I have to create coupon for that product/service that is the same for every new client and never expires, but then say in the follow-up communications that it's unique to the client and expires in x amount of days.

Coupon action in workflow

Create an action in workflows to create a coupon.
The use-case that I have in mind is for people to purchase vouchers. So if a product [voucher] is bought, it creates a once-off coupon. They purchase amount would be the coupon value and for once off use. This must then be sent on an email or other comms.

Dynamic Coupon Creation

It would be nice to have the ability to create coupons using the Workflow builder as well as dynamically on websites and funnels.
Example: customer purchases a product or course on our website through the new GHL e-comm store and hits the "Thank You" page. Now they will be presented with a coupon that expires in "X" amount of time that they can use to continue shopping but adds urgency since the coupon will expire shortly.
I saw this recently done to me when ordering something online and thought it was a fantastic idea. We would certainly use this a lot in our business if it was available.
Lastly, creating coupons from Workflows is another powerful feature that would allow us to collect leads on a website popup form and then send them a custom coupon via SMS or Email that was created on the fly. We would need to be able to control the coupon conditions in the WF builder too though (expiration, what products it works for, etc).
P.S. I was going to include the "auto apply" coupons via a link but I see that's already been added here!
