The only statuses available in HL for Documents and Contracts are: sent, viewed, signed, or completed. This structure is good overall, but it's missing a critical piece. Adding a 'draft' status would allow for more accurate workflows and data storage of open sales opportunities. Currently, this structure has the ability to have inaccurate information in workflows.
Use Case Example:
Let's say you're doing a follow-up campaign in a workflow on a sent proposal. Then the user takes that sent proposal then moves it to a draft to make an edit. That proposal is now no longer a 'sent' or 'active' proposal since it is a draft. It would need to be resent to become active again. Although, without any triggers or ways to filter out this action your workflow will continue to follow-up on a proposal which is no longer active.
With a draft status you could have more accurate sales campaigns, reduce redundancies, and more accurately store contact data.
