Currently the options for sorting custom objects is "created on" or "changed on".

For example - AUTO DEALERS - All cars are listed as custom objects, sorting by color or make might be super helpful.

Another Example - REAL ESTATE - sorting by the town the house is located (custom object field)

One more - Event Based Businesses - The event date (custom object field) would be nice to sort by so everything upcoming is in chronological order.
