ability to use my custom object fields in emails -
We want to use custom objects to be able to send our customers updates on their website projects. Right now if 1 client has multiple websites with us, we can't easily send them updates for each website. A custom object could be the perfect solution if we were able to utilize variables and triggers.

Yes, this is a MUST-HAVE feature. We spent weeks uploading tons of actionable data for our clients into a separate Custom Object - only tolearn that we can't filter Contacts based on these fields.
This is information is associated to Contacts as multi-to-one (multiple purchases to one customer/Contact, in the Contacts object). We can't create custom fields in the native Contacts object because, as I mentioned above, each purchase contains unique information hat needs to be connected as multiple to one. Contacts don't allow this.
