✅ Project Management Level

My B2B customers, medium - large contractors to be specific, has been requesting a Project Management feature for a long time.
➕ Add a Project tab in the main meny that could be toggled on/off like other features.
✅ Create a new project.
✅ Assign staff, contacts, companies and opportunities to the project.
✅ Add basic data to the project like address, value, source, etc.
✅ Let us add custom fields, notes, documents, tasks, etc.
✅ Let us assign proposals, estimates, appointments, invoices, etc. to the project.
✅ Let us mark communication like emails and SMS to the project.
➕ Let us switch between two overviews.
✅ Listed view, like the contacts-view with search, bulk actions, etc.
✅ Pipeline view, like opportunities-view with custom steps.
Please comment below if you have additional ideas.

Yes, this is a must for service businesses that do multiple projects for the same clients. In addition to the points on the main post, it would be nice to also:
- Associate a project to a service date with a project start and end time.
- Build workflows that are associated around the project date
- Use Zapier to be able to create a new project and input data into the project fields (like you can with opportunities, except you should also be able to assign data to custom fields).

Thinking out loud...
➕ Add tasks within tasks.
➕ Add task templates.
✅ Let us create task templates with the tasks-within-tasks feature.
✅ Add option: Select steps for tasks within a task. Example, step 1. step 2. etc.
✅ Add option: Select forced steps for tasks within a task. Example, step 2 of the task gets accessible after checking step 1.
✅ Let us select priority of a task.
✅ Let us select start date and end date of a task.
✅ Let us add predicted overdue for a task.
✅ If the task is within GHL, let us link the task (clicking on the task (example, send a contract) takes us to the contract templates).

👉🏼 We already have a client portal. What if the project management feature gets a projects site in the client portal?
Imagine if even the customer could have access to the project(s) 😲
➕ Create a project tab in the client portal
➕ Within a project, create one section for internal only and one open section where the customer can access the project(s) from the client portal.
✅ The customer could enter both active and old projects.
✅ The customer could add tasks, comments, documents, data, pictures.
✅ The project could have a chat accessible for the customer.
✅ The customer should be able to set start dates and estimated finish dates for tasks and tasks within tasks.
✅ The customer should be able to set overdue days/hours for delayed tasks with a end date.
✅ The customer should be able to view and pay invoices from the client portal end.

🤯
Imagine, for example, a contractor with several subcontractors for a project.
➕ Let us create sub-projects within a project.
✅ Let us assign clients to different sub-projects.
✅ Add a dedicated chat, list of tasks, documents, etc in the sub-project.
✅ Let us assign clients to sub-projects, tasks, resources, etc.
The clients gets a full overview over their assigned sub-projects, taskes, etc in the client portal.

Add: This is urgent
Trying to build out a client for website right now and proving unable to do the better process. After sending proposal, so way of tracking task and collaborating on the project.
- Client portal need for this so that client can be sent task to complete where necessary. Like sending their content, images, etc.
- Please see image for reference.
- Honey book does a decent job of this and more advance a click up or Monday /notion.
4. Also to template- recurring task for your projects such as website task , branding project etc. for marketing l. Thanks
