The goal, have Conversation AI handle Live Chat and book appointments, 100% hands-off.
In short, it almost does. The Conversation AI provides suggested times to visitors for booking an appointment, but when the user picks a time the AI just says that the appointment has been booked without ever asking for and collecting their name email address, or phone number.
How I set it up. I enabled Conversation AI for Live Chat as the supported channel, enabled Auto Pilot, and Appointment Booking under Configure Intent.

Agreed, we have people getting in touch on the Live chat but it doesnt collect the email and name ect before the chat starts so don't have the details upfront like we have with the SMS version. Also once they book an appointment from the conversational version rather than taking them to a form for details, I have no idea of the name or email of the person who has booked the appointment.

This would be very helpful. Also, if we can create a BOT that can make calls to schedule appointments with potential customers this would be a game changer. There is a company that has already done it and they are rolling it it out now. Maybe we can incorporate it into our system.
